Activities are clustered into thematic focus areas that fall within the mandate of ESCWA and internationally agreed goals. Thematic areas covered: profiling the information society in the Arab region, the development and harmonization of cyber legislation for promoting cyber safety, Internet governance, ICT policy for social and economic development, digital Arabic content, the impact of ICT on social and economic development, and research and innovation in science and technology. The app offers many features such as multilingual search functionality for English and Arabic, selecting favorite articles, turning channels on and off, access to PDF files, sharing of articles on social media, and font customization.
